Choice should be individualized for each patient
Consider one of the following:
- OTC Acetaminophen
- Oral NSAIDs
- Topical NSAIDs
- Intraarticular Corticosteroid Injections
For patients age 75 years or older
It is strongly recommended to use topical rather than oral NSAIDS
